I almost typed the time in the title instead of the date, in case you're wondering what I kind of day I'm having today.
Anyway, work on this month's newsletter is underway, with 1/2 of it written. It should hit next week. It's about how sometimes you need to say fuck it and chill out. Surprisingly, I have a lot to say about fucking off.
Sometime earlier this year my ears were opened to the greatness that is Neil Young. I'm visiting music I never liked when I was younger, probably more out of curiosity than anything else. I heard one of Neil's songs on my Apple Music radio that randomly cranked up and few months back and I. have. become. obsessed.
Thankfully, there's a lot of Neil Young music out there. And when you run out, he'll find some tapes from 1977 or thereabouts that he forgot about and press them to vinyl ... there's always more Neil. Sure, some of the songs sound all the same, but according to Neil, it's all just one song.
I guess this is to say you should try things again.
Hell, I even listened to some Bob Dylan.
And I still didn't like what I heard.
