Happy Friday the 13th!

There are three Friday the 13th's this year; this one, another one next month, then another in November. Enjoy them, for they are special for a number of reasons.

And while I'm on the subject, I only like the first three Friday the 13th films. The rest do nothing for me. Sorry, but I'm really not into slashers anyway.

I have one more day of work then I'm on vacation. I plan on working on my post dark academia contemporary fantasy and playing video games. I may start Ghost of Yōtei over again with a more difficult setting. I still need to finish Ghost of Tsushima, so maybe I'll be playing both.

I started reading Miles: The Autobiography by Miles Davis and Quincy Troupe, which was basically dictated by Miles Davis and scribed on the page by Troupe. If you've ever listened or watched any of Miles' interviews, you'll know from the first paragraph that we're getting the raw, unfiltered Miles Davis. I think this one is going to be a lot of fun, and damn ... the guy was a living history record of the birth of the cool, and not just with jazz, but with so much more.

I'm going to try to check in daily next week, but as usual ... no promises.
