Retail Hell-Phase I: The Blackest Friday, the Devil's Friday is over and done with. Good riddance. Greed has turned the holiest of times into just one giant fucking sale with shit we don't need at prices that are still massively marked up.
Okay, I'll get off my soapbox.
I did manage to watch Together, which was wild and unpredictable, but now it'll be a long time before I see it again because there's really not that much too it. Good popcorn flick. I also rewatched The Long Walk, which still made me deathly afraid of crazy military people here and abroad and also put a lump in my throat. And I finally caught the first chapter of the group of Strange Things Season 5 episodes available.
I'm slowly working on a possible sequel to The Small Hours. I have some ideas, which are always exciting, and it would be something that would fit for a continuation of Jay and Willi's adventures, but the story isn't there yet. I'm still working on my other project, What the Wicked Dread, so that's chugging along as well.
I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with my patreon. The longer I stay away, the less I want to revisit it. I will continue to support artists there, I just won't be adding more of my own content there. What I will be doing is reposting some of those patreon essays here so they can have a permanent home. Those posts will be separate and not part of the monthly newsletter. As a matter of fact, I've got one coming up real quick.
