As promised a progress report of my reading of the Lord of the Rings.

It might be from having seen the films, but the reading is quite easy going. Granted, I'm still very early doors ... like I'm reading about Gollum at the moment ... yet it's still pretty damn good reading. I think kinda knowing the story helps, but also there's not a ton of characters slathered on the page at one time. Tolkien keeps it real with a true focus on character and story.

So far, so good.

Today was definitely a Monday, I'm beat up from work, and have to start work again very early tomorrow morning. See you on the flip.
